REDcert accredited by European Commission
The REDcert certification system for sustainable biomass pursuant to Directive 2009/28/EC has been recommended for accreditation by the EU Commission to the member states.
The formal accreditation process of the REDcert system is expected to be finalised and published in the Official Journal of the European Union by the end of June 2012.
Approval by the EU Commission is the prerequisite for unrestricted use of the REDcert system in all European countries.
